Bumper clips and fixings

I’m considering a full wrap on my Zed and wondering what clips and fixings are likely to break when removing the bumpers and side skirts, so I need to prepare myself with new ones for refitting.
Are there anymore I need to look out for?

Also do I need to get them from BMW or are there alternatives?

You shouldn't break anything removing front and rear bumper covers. If any of the bumper to wing brackets are sagging it's an opportunity to replace them, but they are expensive and only oem

Small possibility of breaking a couple of the push in clips that hold the sideskirts on but they are pence at BMW, so would not waste time trying to match oem to Ebay

ye on front bumper the wing clips can break. there not cheap, the push pins that hold the arch liner / bumper some u have to push the inner rod all way through and these might go missing.

I have heard also that the headlight washers can be a problem, do any clips break on these?

Only by removing them incorrectly or roughly. The wrapping company should do it and take responsibility

It would be my mate doing the wrap with prob a bit of help from me, (I help him sometimes) it’s his business wrapping and tinting, he’s pretty careful at removing panels.

Then I wouldn’t worry Russ
They unclip from the side once the jet is lifted up. You’ll see one side is a pin the otter a cetch

How do you get the washer jets to stay up, can they be raised manually?

Sorry for all the questions but I want to make sure nothing breaks.
That’s if I go ahead with it.

Lift them with your fingernails and then just hold the jet extended with one hand and unclip the cover with the other
More fun is to get someone to operate the jet and grab it when it pops up
