BUMPED TOPIC: M badges replacement Group Buy

Mine arrived today. Overall they look ok,

The M is different, the triangular sections don’t extend far enough makes the M look quite fat, and they are quite different sizes too.

I did mention in my other posts about the colour and the purple colour is more like a navy. The other colours are also dull compared to the actual M colours.

Whether you would notice from a distance. Probably not. For £15 can’t complain

Glad you received them. Yes, for that amount I think they are good enough

I got many responses and I first want to thank you all for your kind words. I am really happy I can do something for the forum: I got so much support when choosing the car and also a lot of advice on parts, maintenance and parts.

Anyway, back to the badges: the vendor has set up links to purchase them via Paypal (this means the payment will be protected). If you don't have a Paypal account you will still be able to purchase using a credit card on the same link.

The vendor also added a keyring listing in case someone is interested:

The sample badges have finally arrived: delivered to my door earlier today...

I received 2 full set: one chrome (like the OEM) and one black. I personally think they look very good and if the price is close enough to the original estimate (below) I will definitely go ahead and get myself 2 sets (of the chrome ones since my Z4 is Interlagos blue / prefer the OEM look). I took a few pictures, including some on the car close to the original (and faded) ones; see below:

Let me know you think and, most importantly, if you are still interested - I have 29 people who expressed initial interest and when we have firm numbers we will organize the order.

They were from Taylor Made Decals (Facebook) before he decided to stop producing them. It’s a shame he did, but thanks to you people have had another opportunity to refresh their badges without paying a silly amount of money.

Is it still possible for me to buy a chrome rear M badges for the rear bumper? I think the links above have expired.

Or if anyone else knows where I can get the sticker or replacement badge for the rear bumper that would be great. Thank you!

I am afraid I don’t sell the badge replicas: I got in touch with a business who were willing to make a production run for a group but. I can get in touch with them again in case there is sufficient number of people interested in them.

I would be interested in that! I've also replied on the existing poll at the top of each page on this thread in case that helps
