Bump :(

Oops :headbang:

I ended up shelling out £7-800 for a bumper for my SLK, next time I'd just go through insurance, my excess was £500 which is why I never bothered, but for £250 I would.

Oops indeed.... though that was not quite what came out my mouth when I'd done it

That's why you need to get it fixed quickly, otherwise every time you look at it, it will remind you of what an idiot you were :fuelfire:

That's how I felt anyway, got mine fixed straight away :D

Guilty as charged.... my wife went further though 'Stupid idiot'

So yeah its getting sorted as soon as poss, it is like an ugly zit at the moment sitting up there reminding me :(

I have some basic knowledge regarding dent repair, there was no way the fender could be fully repaired as the dent extends across the feature line.I'd personally go for insurance, after all that's what it's there for.

Update... It is going through insurance and they let me choose where to take it :)

It is going to GVN Coachworks who are just down the road from where I work and always have very nice expensive cars there being repaired so should be able to handle a small bump to Z4 :D

Their quote was for about £600 + VAT and as a bonus the front bumper gets a full respray to I get to get rid of all the unsightly stone chips on the lower lip :)

Thanks for everyones input :D
