Bullied kid fights back

my lad was getting bullied at school years ago ........
after a wee talk with him, I convinced him the only way to deal with a bully is to smack 'em in the face as hard as you possibly can ...... they wont do it again.
I got called to school to discuss an incident - they were going to suspend my boy until I pointed out that the teaching staff may not want it known that that they allowed bullying in the first place ...... job done.

Well done that man, be a while before that little runt tries it on again .........

Similar incident for me, one of my daughters was being bullied when she was at school to the extent that she had to be escorted from one class to the next, the school knew she was being bullied and supplied prefects to escort her around the school, in the meantime they did absolutly nothing to to actually stop the bullying, all of this went on without me or mrs knowing anything about it, for some reason the school "forgot" to tell us, we found out one week before the new school was having a visit from Scotlands First minister, to show off the new School, One very irate visit from me to the headmaster, who at first refused to see me until I mentioned the words Solicitor, police and press, and all 5 of the known bullies were suspended for 13 days (the day after the visit. The bullying resumed until I turned up at the head bullies house and asked to speak to the father outside. I was spoken to through a door on a chain from a very small man I told him that if it continued then he was borrowed time.
The bullying ceased almost immediatly.

But, I know my daughter still carries the mental scars and will do for life, My only hope is that the bullies all end up with 15 kids married to a junkie with aids

bullying is disgusting full stop. That kid deserved it totally ... and I agree, the large kid should not have been punished (more like congratulated!!)

I agree, it is too simplistic an approach to punish both in equal measures (or in this case, the victim is expelled but the bully has not been ...).

It is almost as if teachers / schools do not dare to make a decision and sit on the fence, so lets take the easy option and punish both. Just weak in my opinion.

Confucius say, Those who sit on fence get splinter in ass.

Good on ya Casey.
