Bulb warning: indicator light on permanently?

Just had a bulb warning come up, and the left front indicator light is now on permanently. It works as an indicator, blinking, but as soon as you flick the indicator back to "neutral" the front indicator is on solid again.

Anyone had this and what is the cure? Logically, I suppose it is a relay rather than the actual indicator bulb?

The indicator comes on for identification of blown side lights. Not sure if head light or high beam too, just check them all.
Or if an LED is fitted, it will fail the bulb checks and have the same effect.

Yes, removed the inspection panel and pulled the sidelight bulb, which was blown. Will replace both, now that I am at it.

Thanks again.

Good plan to do the pair and happy days. I only asked as it could have been bulb holder or something else other than bulb.
