Built in AUX 2007 Z4

Hi

I have a 2007 2.0 Z4. I have a built in Aux underneath on right hand side just above the ashtray. The stereo changes to AUX when I press mode button. However when I attach the AUX Cable, sound does not go through to the stereo and only comes out of my device. Any ideas on how to fix this please?

The fact that it still comes out of your device would suggest that it’s not plugged in properly on your device (it should mute the speaker just as if you were plugging headphones in). Possibly dodgy lead or dodgy connector on device?
 
Well welcome to the forum. :thumbsup:

Hopefully you'll get it working - if it doesn't seem too loud there is an Aux-in volume setting on the head unit!

And don't forget we like to see photos of new member's cars. :lol:
