Build spec & Brochure Discrepancy

Hi all,

I need some help with a discrepancy I found with a PDF BMW Z4 Price List from March 2010 which I found online and a print out build spec I have on my car (from BMW). I don't have an official brochure to check against, the brochure needs to be pre June 2010 as this was when my car was built.

My Vehicle Build Spec:
6NF - Telephone USB audio interface
6FL - USB audio interface
Now not being funny, but this looks wrong to me... This looks like a error on my build spec as the brochure I have says that code 6NF should be Bluetooth audio... Which my wife's 330d has and it's awesome.

BMW Z4 brochure states:
Connectivity Package, includes.
6NF - Bluetooth telephone audio connection. (This is what my car doesn't have, and many others I believe...)
6FL - USB audio interface

Brochure details: part no. 95 38 1 108 906 Printed in the UK. Valid from March 2010.

If anyone has the original price list brochure, could they let me know if the brochure says Bluetooth telephone audio connection. As I would like to raise this issue with BMW and get this corrected...

Not sure if this is related but the e89 didn't have Bluetooth audio prior to 2010 as in mid/late 2010 they started fitting combox which is uprated hardware to allow a number of enhancements including Bluetooth audio. Probably just reassigned the option ID.

Actually, one thing I hadn't considered, do you know if there was much of waiting list when ordering the Z4 35is when it first came out? As I suppose even though it was built in June, it could have been ordered prior to the release date of March in brochure I found...

I've got the correct brochure and it says

6NF - Telephone USB Audio Interface
6FL - USB Audio Interface

So it looks like your build is correct.

Don't forget they always have a get out, such as correct at the time of press.

It's well documented about the hill assist function as many on here know.
