bugger me run flats are expensive

See this as an opportunity to dump the runflats and greatly improve your car. I went from runflats to Michelin PS2s and ride quality, grip, greatly improved. Break-away characteristics less snappy too.
Only 2 downsides: turn-in is slightly softer and the worry over punctures (buy a get-you-home kit or, like me, get a used space saver spare and jack)

Run flats are the biggest POS I have ever driven on. I switched them and the car feels significantly better. One RF tire can cost almost as much as buying a set of 4 non RF.

how much do they cost - in the UK? Run flats that is - and what do people recommend as non RF replacements?

I'm going for Falken F452's when my RFT's wear out, they seem to be highly recommended on this forum, set of four for £320 cant be bad
