I'm not the greatest Veyron fan and this doesn't look different enough to warrant a new model name but even so I do think it looks quite nice, the interior looks amazing and you certainly can't deny that a LOT of engineering has gone into it. I'm just happy that cars like this still exist...
Surely this won't ever get built given the financial situation at VAG? Wasn't the Veyron a showing off exercise with each car being sold for less than it cost to produce.
Well seeing that they did all the heavy lifting with the Veyron I don't think this costs as much to develop. They already know the physics and requirements now don't they?
Ignoring the horrid bumble bee colour scheme I much prefer the lights & side air scope layout on the Veyron, Designers have gone nuts with front and rear lights the past few seasons, just because they now can. I suspect there are many current cars that will be scrapped before their fore bares as a result.
The interior the tech spec & so many other things I love. But alas I just can't get past the fact it looks like a startled Ferengi. http://www.startrek.com/uploads/assets/articles/Ferengi1.jpg
Do agree that it looks more like 'the new veyron' as opposed to 'Bugatti's new car'! Getting to 186 quicker that some astras did to 60 not too long ago is mind blowing..
Seems like they were free to bush the boat out elsewhere now in the details, like the speakers and the carbon fibre airbag housing etc. I think production will go ahead, if not just for the fact that VW need all the positive PR they can muster at the moment
The Geneva motor show seems to have been nuts this year in general, the Corvette Grandsport looks stunning, as does Koenensensnesnensnig's latest offering, and the Maserati 4x4.
