Buckled wheel repair?

Hi,

I’ve got a very slightly buckled wheel - definitely at the lower end of the spectrum.

What are people’s view on repairs? It seems to divide opinion. Are repairs generally safe now or to be avoided?

I had one fixed, it had a buckle and slight crack. Welded and heated up and pulled true by a reputable repairer. I don't think he would have done it if it wasn't safe to repair. That was 12 months ago, it drives fine and feels nicely balanced.

Thanks Tommo, for an occasional car this what I would like to do. As people aren’t screaming ‘don’t do it!’, I’ll go with your positive experience
