Bubbling Noise during heavy Rain

Hello,

This is my first post but I have read many others and found them very useful so maybe someone can help...

I have a 3.0si Coupe and during sustained periods of driving in the rain I can hear a faint bubbling noise that sounds as though it is coming from behind the drivers side air vent above the headlight control dial.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea why this might be?

I have not been able to find any damp patches on the carpet below or on any internal surfaces of the car. Also checked for leaves building up somewhere in around the window wipers but it was clear.

Its your coupe Crying...because its not a roadster ...

Seriously though don't know what it is But I'm sure someone will be along with a possible answer soon..

Have you checked the air intake, under the bonnet, at the edge near the windscreen to see if it's clean? Leafs and other crud builds up there, clogging the drain holes..
