Brushed Aliminium centere console

Has anyone any tips on removing small ( or making less noticable) nicks/dents and scratches on the brushed Aliminium centre console, I notice after iv cleaned the console these imperfection are not so noticable, wondering if anyone has managed to eradicate the dings which are caused by inadvertently hitting the consle with the seat belt buckle. cheers guys

I think they are permanent. Ive got a few on mine and every zed Ive looked at seemed to have them too. I think youre right about cleaning it makes them less noticeable but i think they are there to stay mate. :x

Been searching for methods to refurb on the net , not much out there, apart from sanding in the direction of the grain , a recipe for disaster ? I think so.

Yep I don't think there is much you could do that wouldn't make it worse.

Replacing is an option but that is likely to get nicks and scrapes too.
