Was -6c last night and the Zed looked like a solid block of ice so i took it for a run to Shear Water lake near Warminster and walked the dog

manged to take the top down with the seats and steering wheel heating on...but back in the fog i had to put it back up,
I tested out the Carly coding for raising the roof while driving, works well at about 25mph

Do you have any problems getting the doors open when its so frosted??

I had a problem one morning with my previous z4; it was so cold the window couldn't drop a bit so the door could open... not happened so far with my 35i but seemed a bit of a design flaw at the time

The door seals absorb a bit of water so when it freezes the door can sometimes be frozen shut! I bought some Gummi Plege which helps prevent this, you just coat the seals with it.

Funnily enouth the doors were fine and the windows werent stuck, but this morning i went to Haynes Motor Museum breakfast mee tand wherei had washed the car yesterday they were frozen really tight.
Shoulda chammied the door jams: oops:
I used to get it really badly on my Boxsters...the windows ued to come out of the angled hood frame slots but never go back in, i drove to work quite often holding the door closed:)
