Agree with the earlier comments that some of the first pics were nowhere near bronze to my eyes, however others (like BMWMC's) look great. I've seen bronze or darker colours look really good on a black car when you don't want to go the full 'murder' spec with black wheels.

Reminds me of the old "John player Special" Lotus F1 car. And I liked that!

Practically twins except the F1car had silver wheels. There are pictures with the gold wheels though.

That's the later Lotus 79 'Black Beauty' (Peterson/Andretti era). The earlier Lotus 72 JPS (Fittipaldi/Peterson era) had gold wheels mainly and the much later Lotus 97 (Senna era) had split rims with gold centres lotus-72-ford-09.jpglotus-97t-1985-lotus-gonochnyy.jpg

Practically twins.

If that Z4 was in Blue it could double as a Clio Williams or stick some stickers on it and it could be a WRX STI. The similarity is uncanny!

There'll be a few folk buying these cars with gold wheels then get them home before they realise they've not bought the Subaru or Lotus 72 JPS.

I’d been after a set of 32’s for months but wanted a set with decent rubber and already refurbed as people were asking silly money for a set still needing a refurb

Then the bronze / gold set popped up and I thought I’d try them

Originally was after silver but I quite like the colour

Ihink it would be even better if they were slightly darker still, almost like a graphite with a hint of bronze.
