I could be mistaken but on pre-facelift roadsters I have read all 3.0 SE's were on M-Sport suspension as standard but could be deleted when ordering (Coupes are different). I assumed all SE's would have SE suspension which is why I went for it instead of sport, doh!, however with 17" alloys and normal tyres instead of run flat the balance is about right.

Broken Spring - SE same as Sport?

Finally got my new Suplex springs and Bilstein B4 f&r, poly ARB f&r and new droplinks f&r fitted!
The car feels much better now and there is much reduced roll. So that's all good.
What is a bit weird though is although the Suplex Springs are supposed to be M-Sport equivalent and so about 10-15mm lower than my original SE suspension ( Coupe 3.0SI, 2007) it sits at exactly the same height! (I definitely ordered the m-sport eqiv and part numbers match)
Maybe because the original springs and shocks had dropped a little over time and maybe my new set-up might settle a bit more (although I have driven about 100 miles since)??
Anyway, pleased with the overall result!

I've just changed out my suspension for a B12 kit and all the original dampers were pretty tired, rears didn't even extend after being compressed. That's on a 56 67K car.
Are you booked in with Lee at FCM? I was there again today to setup the geometry after lowering and he mentioned he's got another Coupe in soon.

One of my front shocks was shot as well- not returning when compressed and expelling what gas was left in it- explains the "hissing" i'd been getting on that side!
Its just strange that the car's not sitting any lower than when I had the SE springs!

Yep, got before pics (not taken after, yet) but I took measurements before from ground to wheel arch and checked these again after fitting- and its the same!
I definitely had SE suspension before as I checked the part numbers on the springs and I've definitely now got the correct Suplex M-sport equivalents after checking the part numbers.
I think its just because the old springs and shocks were tired and so had dropped a little and as ive had new spring pads fitted as well that's proabably added a few mm until they sink in a bit!
Anyway, the car feels much better to drive with a firmer but compliant feel and less body-roll, so that's the main thing!
I will get the the alignment done soon.
