Broken image links

Hi,

I have noticed quite a few image links are now not showing up, the main one in ZEDfest 2018 first post first line, if you follow the link it works pout not viewing in posts, have you change any settings?

Ah yes, http:// links are not allowed, they need to be https://. Old posts are ok but new ones need to conform. The problem in this case is editing the post is treated like a new post.

Did you edit the post? If you upload the image to the post itself that will fix it

Think I’ve sorted it, had to change all links to https but it asks about SSL certificate but now can see them. Looks like you have switched off all http links and only https work. This will have big impact on posts with images hosted by own authors websites.

BTW, it still doesn't work because your certificate is invalid. You can see it because you accepted to bypass it hen you tested your link.

Save the image to your computer and attach it to the post, that will work fine (and be viewable by all).

We are trying to cut down on the number of externally linked images, and where we have them they should be secure. This is on the back of people experiencing pop up adverts on their devices.
