Broken Glove Box Latch

I have a 2008 Z4 with a glove box that is locked closed and a latch that is broken. It looks like the left corner of the door is releases but the right sign is holding the door in place. I need to get to the fuse box. Is there a way to disassemble the glove box door?

Sounds like if it is locked closed and you can’t unlock it the only thing to do is force it open and then replace it?
