Broken drivers side cup holder, replacement spring part?

Hi guys,

As title, I went to Zedfest (which was awesome btw!) and on the way there I had a drink in drivers side cup holder fine.... and on the way back I went to put another drink in and it didn't work, must have been the long journey there with a heavy full drink in the whole way there :headbang:

It's the arm part that now doesn't "grip" anymore, it just springs back, is there a trick to repair this or is it a common problem and a replacement part readily avaialable?

If not I'll take it out over the weekend and see if it's possible to glue or something :(

as the arm ratches to adjust to different cup sizes, gluing it wont work.

The spring has probably come loose in the gear system or fell out - take it to bits and have a look at it
 
Yea I didn't think glue would work as under tension it would just break again... didn't realise the spring coming loose could happen so that's 1st place to check :)
