Broken ashtray....aaahhhh!

This weekend my lovely ashtray died! It was the perfect place to keep gum and coins…..may it rest in peace. It doesn’t fully open and when is pushed to close it doesn’t latch…I guess this will be a trip to the dealer. Does anybody have a part number for this part? Is this a single piece that also holds the roof open-close, dsc and tire buttons? This is an ’04 model.. Can anybody help…?

Mine is broekn too - I would just swap it for a new one but as the cover doesn't open i can't get it out!!

Just break it to get it out, then get a new one.

I did just break a dash piece, the vent. Was told that after 50K miles "trim" pieces are not under warranty. Why the heck did i pay extra for the extended warranty then?

My advice is to get it into the shop as quickly as possible, presumably before the warranty runs out.
