Broken Again ! 35iS

I can't take leave sadly due to my job. I am a policeman in a specialist dept and sadly no one to do what I do available :( I just have to hope I don't get called out otherwise I will never get there ... one call for me is usually 8 hours work.
Forensic science by any chance.

Hope this one gives you more enjoyment and less trouble than the last one :)

Nope, I manage investigations into fatal collisions ... and yes, I am hoping this one is somewhat more reliable than the last. The other one was very quick - just not reliable. This one only has 2450 miles so is tight - meaning I have to loosen it up

Got it and love it ! So new at 2500 miles as opposed to a 30000 mile one :-) sat nav and professional hifi / speakers are a revelation compared to the std one. It is still tight due to the mileage as you would expect but that will only get better as I use it

Enjoy your new car :driving:
You'd have never been happy with the old one

Thanks ... and very true ! I so wanted to keep it as I loved the car but everyone I know and everyone here said that would be stupid.

I looked at an M135i and an M235i and would probably have gone for an M235i if I hadn't of seen this one - which is simply stunning !! I can't wait to get some miles on it :D

Any pics then? :poke:

Haha, bit dark now - driving it was more important :P

The wife is a professional photographer who took some lovely photos on my Z4M against a great backdrop - one is my profile avatar. I intend to get the new Z4 down to the same location and try and get an 'updated' set :)

It's all very depressing when like me having spent a lot of money on a used 3 year old 2.3 I and having had bmw in the past trouble free!!!?,

The 'new' one is thankfully a different cup of tea (and only has 2700 miles on it so far).

The 'old' one is up for sale at £1000 more than they were asking 4 months ago :

I hope whoever buys it is told the truth as to why I gave it back and I hope whoever buys it has more luck with it than I did !! It certainly went like stink ... when it wasn't broken !

I loved it ... thus I got another ... it just kept letting me down. It was a great car apart from that - if you know what I mean. I so wanted to love it but I felt I couldn't trust it. They have given me back the £26K I paid for it which was very decent of them.

I do sympathise I'm fearfully aware that I want mine to be perfect so I'm fanatically watching and listening for strange noises etc.

I nearly bought that one at cooper .but took a instant dislike to the salesman .and them showing me the paperwork saying it owed them 26950 why are they selling it for 23950 .that was 3 weeks ago still not gone .
