Great news so8 :D if you liked the 35is your better getting a other  look forward to some pics

Nice work SO8, I assume it's the one for sale in Kent? Mineral white with red interior. Very good spec too. Excellent result. Hopefully this will provide you with many years of trouble free motoring

Thanks for the replies :) Driven and signed on the dotted line about an hour ago ... and yes, it was the one in Kent. It is mint, as new - which is what you would expect from a car with only 2450 miles on it.

I can't wait to get it. I just need to get my existing one to the original dealer and get the money transferred over. I am guessing it may take 2 weeks but will push to try and get them to do the transfer asap.

:D

Glad to hear it's all gone smoothly and its everything you wanted. I would hope it wouldn't take 2 weeks to transfer the money.

I have to drop my existing 35iS at the dealers local dealer and my original salesman has to sort the paperwork for the 'buy back'. Once there he said it would take a couple of days for the money to go through. When I bought the car their finance dept dug their feet in and mucked me about. Sales staff have been good, but their finance are the worry. It will, nevertheless, get sorted ... I would just rather that is asap :)

The car at Bromley is effectively ready. There is one tiny thing I asked them to look at but that is a small job. Once the money is transferred to BMW and the remainder to me the car will be ready. If I had the money now it could be ready tomorrow ...

Right, old car dropped off and paperwork signed - just got to encourage them to pay me for it quickly now so I can get the new one :)

Nice one !
Hope you have better luck with the new car

Well done again mate, I love the Z in white as you know, and just keep it looking clean and it will look amazing!!!

Dropped 'old' car off Tuesday and all paperwork sent by the dealer to their accounts dept - now Saturday and still no money in my account :(

It is only a few days but very frustrating. I can transfer money online instantly ... yet the dealers accounts dept is ruining the good work of the sales staff in offering me 100% money back by keeping hold of the money !

Maybe I am being unreasonable but I have the 'new' car just waiting and it is painful :x

The dealer said money may come into my account yesterday, but if not he couldn't say as he was only repeating what the accounts dept (elsewhere) had told him ... Grrr

'Old' dealer have paid ... new dealer will have car ready for Thursday :)

All I have to do is finish work on time (2.30pm) and get to the dealer by train which is about an hour ...

Hopefully, work and public transport permitting I will be driving a mineral white 35iS from then :D

Take a days leave!!!
Go and collect it in the morning - early - then enjoy the drive.

You need to take a day off if you rely on public transport to get there in the first place

Enjoy your day

I can't take leave sadly due to my job. I am a policeman in a specialist dept and sadly no one to do what I do available :( I just have to hope I don't get called out otherwise I will never get there ... one call for me is usually 8 hours work.
