Broke Soft top

Well, after only 5 years, 8 or so months, my top has been up and down so many times that it is now broke. I wore out the metal brackes and they are broken, so I have to replace everything mecanically, I am assuming. Has anybody doen this and if so, about how much did it cost?

Never done it but believe it's a marathon job to get the entire roof off and back on.

I'd consider one from Ebay where I see them go for very little money, expecially if you only want the mechanicals and keep your canvas

Sorry to hear this Rick, Did something fall on it or just does not open ( electrical ). What a bummer. On one of the forums a guy found a complete soft top for 2200 ( as I remember ). Parts only. He and Luca was talking about tring to put it in the car. I have never heard anything about that happening though.
