ok, so not exactly a show-stopper, but when I got in the car tonight after work, as I hauled my leg in, my foot caught on the bottom of the door pocket thing, and has broken the covering. Pictures say it better:

It looks like the outer cover was glued on as it doesn't seem to have clips.

My 1st thoughts were that its gonna rattle...then my 2nd thought was that I wouldn't notice it above the other rattles!!!!

So, does anyone have any advice? Unless it is clipped on and someone can tell me how, then I will probably just glue it back together. Superglue? Does anyone know how to get that whole bit off...or does that mean removing the door card?

Its only the front bit thats broken, about the first third.

Please ignore, if you can, the dirty car!

I'm having mine removed soon for speakers to be fitted so I might have them going spare.

Quadracer - let me know what happens.

Dr Nick - that colour is Alpine White.....with a thick covering of North Devon country road muck and road grime, religiously collected over the past 2 months! I washed my wife's car on Sunday but was too cold to do mine!

If its glued just Aradite it back together and use a bulldog clip to hold it over night.

Oh and get some mudflaps

I couldnt think of anything actually helpful to write!

Absolutely, I got it! Hence my weak explanation of having not washed it for ages.

Tim : do I araldite the mudflaps to the door?

I could take it to dealer but genuinely broke it myself, so would feel guilty, even though I couldn't care about conning them!

You could try :D I was going to suggest BMWs mudflaps but these might be better for yours

Are mudflaps glued and sealed or just bolt on. I wouldn't mind them on for the winter but as they look a bit daft would want to remove them for the summer?
