Is anyone else heading to Silverstone for this at the week end?

There's a full programme and advanced ticket sales via Silverstone are BOGOF for the week end! That's £33 ncluding booking fee for a full week end's (Fri-Sun) racing for two of you - billy bargain.

I'll be heading up from Basingstoke via Newbury (to pick up a mate in his spankers 135i) en route on Friday if anyone's interested?

Funnily enough I was watching the Top Gear episode where they drove in the Britcar race and was thinking I'd quite like to go to this. Might be a bit short notice though....

I used to marshal at it when it was the Britcar 24hr - but couldn't be arsed for a 6 hour version.

Well, there are still tickets available, and I'm camping all weekend for £45 for the pitch, which is inside the payline...

Each to their own I guess. I missed it last year, and yes am a bit miffed that it's only a 6 hour race, but still think that it's pretty good value with all the other races going on. Plus SWMBO has given me the pass out, so I'd be daft not to take it!
