I agree Cheddar is a nice location. However I am pretty happy to just turn up and follow. :D

Here's a suggested route that may suit a lot of people, including any Midlands, M4 Corridor and you Phil...

Meet at Aust Services, a run up the A38 to Gloucester, around the top, across the Forest of Dean to Monmouth and back down through the Wye valley.

Good mid-way stops with plenty of parking either at Kings Head, Birdwood (Point D)

or the Speech House pub/hotel at Point F, in the middle of The Forest of Dean

A large car park area by Chepstow Race course to finish off, so the Welshies can then disappear without crossing back over the Bridge.

You just need to pick the right Sunday for some decent weather, Danstarr ! - Good luck :D :thumbsup:

Had a little rain :( so has ruined my cruise I want the sun to come out so I can enjoy the car!
 
I'm in Bath now so would be up for this route, looks like a good'un, hope it gets organised....when the rain stops!
