Brilliant ride by Chris Froome

Didn't seem to be going for Yellow. Just a fortunate consequence of being Brilliant. Doubt he will want to keep it just now. :wink:
 
Total respect to Froome. The decent to the finish was incredibly brave at speeds up to 50mph - especially with his weight over the front wheel and still peddling!!!

Must have had a bit of pre-meditation to have a 54 tooth ring on and to have practised that aero style pedalling. Hope he's OK for tomorrow though as it's another very tough stage.

Agree the way Sky were attacking towards the top of the climb that was planned. :thumbsup:

Used to have 56-13, on mu old Harry Quinn. Great for chasing lorries down the A59. Bit less traffic back in the 70's though. :lol:
