Just watched these videos of a Caterham kicking the backside of a 911 gt2, really shows how much effort goes into driving at the limit, watching these gave me even more respect for racing drivers in all classes motorsport.

My mate races in some kind of Caterham r400 series. I ocassionally join him on test days etc and am always amazed at to see him drive the thing. He works so hard and gets so much out of the car often troubling things that look like they would destroy the Caterham on paper.

On your average track I barely ever get beyond 3rd gear in the thing unless there is a big straight. Even then I crap myself before I get anywhere near the cars limit.

As long as you don't have to drive it to and from the track i'd say it's the best bang for bucks track car available.
