Perhaps not so fast though. If it was the sidelight I would expect the indicator to come on (solid) for the faulty side.
Try changing the LED sidelight back to a bulb temporarily and see if the problem reappears. Check all the bulbs are seated correctly but the flashing rapidly makes me think it's an indicator issue. The car has been known to find fault with a bulb before it actually fails. Check side and rear indicators too with new spares if you have them.

I've done everything you have suggested (discussed previously in this thread) apart from changing the indicator bulbs. Currently I'm not using the Zed much but I will see how it goes. I have changed back to the original bulbs (even bought replacement non-LED ones). Last time I was out in it it was fine for about 45 minutes driving before the problem started, and then it went away again a few minutes later.
