Brembo brake kit help

BBK are a bit hit and miss....

Sometimes they actually reduce the braking power in the car...

You have to remember the limits of tyre grip and master cylinder as well as the "show off" bits...

have a look at K sport, HiSpec and TarOx as well... all decent set ups..

IAWTP - but I think Jonny is looking for a bit of Essex bling rather than outright stopping power

It's worth remembering that brake balance is very, very important - as has been mentioned, the reason that Zs have bigger front brakes is that they need to do most of the work, if you change the brakes without ensuring the front/rear bias is correct you could end up with your rear wheels locking up (or ABS activating) very easily.

What's the point in spending £3k on a brake kit when you only have a 2.0ltr?

If you were going to be building a turbo engined 2.0ltr or transplanting a 3.0ltr for a track day car then I could understand it.
Non of ur business cowboy but if you kept up on my project you would see my engine will be upgraded to more bhp then a 2.2L and then maybe a whole new 3L lump altogether that will turbo charged to give same output as 3.2L ZM

If its non of my business then don't post up your s**t on a public forum, dickhead.

What project? All I see you saying is "I'm buying/doing this next year" all over the forum.........it comes across as if your a bit of a dreamer.

I gave an opinion, having been there myself, if you can't take other people's opinions then don't bother asking questions.

Mark ask him to show you what he has for £4k

Johhny tell him your car is still better

Not wanting to get drawn into the other conversation on this topic. But it'd need to be a supercharger. You'll struggle to find a turbo kit for the 3.0i.

I looked into supercharging the 3.0i and concluded that once you add in a limited slip diff to handle the extra power, upgrade the brakes and suspension etc, it worked out cheaper to buy an ///M.

Then there's the cost of insurance on a modified supercharged car etc.... I gave up and settled for 231hp. Spent the cash on other mods :D

Ever heard of the phase 'money to burn".....besides i joined this forum for ONE reason only to gather knowledge on how to mod my Zed, i want her to be one of the best roadsters in the UK....nothing wrong with a little Hobbie is there!?! :)
I'm with you there Jonny, does my head in when people say that phrase. All Zeds are a waste of money, we could all get bikes and for long distances mopeds.
