Breaking - Bmw Z4 Roadster 2005 3.0i Black, light grey interior

Sorry as I think this is my first post, I mostly lurk on this forum having only recently bought my z4. Do you still have the power steering pump. Mine works fine but makes a bit of noise that garage said they can't stop, not worth buying a brand new one as expensive for minor fault but would be interested for the right price if yours is okay.

Hi,

Appologies for the delay, I have been away. The Z4 has EPS so not a pump as such. From the bit of reading I have done it seems like it needs to go as a complete unit (Steering column etc). (could be corrected??). This labour cost alone may put you off changing for a "minor fault". By the looks of various posts it look slike a pricey assembly and a common fault. You are welcome to make an offer though.

Cheeky bump.

Hope to spend the b/h weekend getting the engine/gearbox out an getting the majority of work done on it with a target of getting the shell taken away in 2 weeks.
 
hi, do u still have the handbrake gaiter or the small speakers behind seat (small 1s behind head rest, not big 1s in cubby hole)

Hi,

Yes and Yes. Drop me a pm with an email address and i'll send you some pictures. The handbrake gater is grey leather... was hoping to sell as complete set (gear knob, gear lever gator and bandbrake gator as a matching set).
 
ok might be worth u keeping hold of the gaiter and selling as a set, condition doesn't matter as I'm re-trimming it anyway, just need the plastics from underneath.

will send pm now :)

Hi Paul,

Boot latch has gone. There was not actually a seperate loom for the tailgate, it was all part of the main body harness.... which I still have.

I do, but the inner spigots have snapped when the airbag went off.... i assume that is whats happened to yours too?

Yeah one has snapped so it's a bit loose/annoying!
