Breakfast meet Sunday 13th Dec at 10am, Scar Top Cafe, near Howarth BD22 0JL

Ferkn typical !
After purchasing a C Class for mrs w ive had the 120d for sale 6 weeks & no interest other than silly email or text offers
Just had a guy from Doncaster phone , asked all the right questions but wants to come at 9-30 tomorrow to view . Now i like a Z natter & a scone but obviously ive said yes so can't get to Scartop unless he changes his mind overnight
Also pi$$ed off as tomorrow the forecast is dry & bright
Apologies for this at last min Stevo :(

As it currently stands the roads near Mytholmroyd & Hebden are flooded.

I won't be risking it unless it stops and clears

I had to go over to Huddersfield today - not good, standing water on M-ways and lots of flooding on B roads :(

No probs Andy, another time
I'm intending on being there. When I spoke to the owner on Wednesday - i.e. after the main part of Storm Desmond - she said the roads were fine, mainly because it's on a hill.
Whoever's there, see you tomorrow.

Don't rule me out completely
If the guy traps early or is a messer & its feasible i'l shoot over , can get there in approx 30mins , happy to just get a drive in tbh with a half decent forecast :driving:

I'm still planning on drive over as not been out in my car for a while. If I hit standing water I'll turn around but fingers crossed weather looks okay Sunday. Been cracking the flags in Bolton all day Saturday!!!

Great meet everyone, and some new faces too :)
Pity the weather prevented some from making it up there - I think 11 turned up in the end.
Nice fry-ups and a good chat - thanks again to Stevo for organising

Thanks to all who ventured out. It's often the early mornings which get the best weather - learnt that when I was a golf club member! Weather was fine in the end although there were a couple of puddles we had to go through on the way there but nothing too scary. Also quite a few "stone roads" where the flowing water appears to have brushed loose stones onto the road but I've been out in far scarier conditions myself. Breakfast there is better than Turnpike, cheaper and with better views - I certainly prefer it. Apols to the early arrivers - Muz isn't the best with the maps so we did a few extra miles on the way there so was a few minutes late... Thanks for the pics Col.
See you again next year.
Stevo

Glad a decent few made it stevo , my day was a complete right off after 3 Latvian clown's turned up for the car 1 hour late at 10-30am & with £500 less in their pocket than i told them id take for the car when they asked yesterday
So i still have the car & they lost 4 hours of their life on a whim :x
