Breakfast meet Sunday 13th Dec at 10am, Scar Top Cafe, near Howarth BD22 0JL

So frustrating - want to get down to one of these meets and need to put a few more miles on my new GoodYears but the night before I'm on a lads curry and drinking night for my best mates birthday - NOT going to be in a state to get up early and head down. :(

Have a great meet

Hello! Didn't think I was able to get over to this one but looking like there's a chance now. Fingers crossed I'll be there Sunday. Thanks for sorting. Ian.

Good stuff, Mick. I've called the café and am expecting a call back. Don't think there'll be any problem.
Stevo

Edit: called again - no issues. Her staff normally come in for around 10 on Sunday. She said she'd get the girls to come early. I said I might be able to help. She hung up :D

Depending on how I feel on Sunday morning after Saturdays activities due to being my birthday weekend I am hoping to come to the meet. Will there be any other E89 attending?

I don't actually know about any other E89s fella. Good question. I don't think so but could easily be wrong. You're more than welcome in any event. Hope to see you Sunday.

If Ian (Obs com) makes it over then he has a VO 3.5Is , park it with Gav's purple E85 should make a colourful scene

Forecast for Sunday morning isn't too bad - overcast with only a 10% chance of rain. Fingers crossed for a nice drive out there :driving:

I don't want to sound like a wimp Dan, but it might be a bit too cold and windy  I'll see what Mr. Wilks does.

Apologies gents, but I'm going to have to cry off this Sunday's meet :( Mrs. B & I have to deal with some issues that we can't avoid.

Maybe next time Mark, have a good Christmas and hope the issues aren't anything too serious.

You got those shoes switched yet

Rears are on, I need to swap tyres on the front ones, 225s foul on the strut even with 15mm spacers so I'm going to switch the 215 tyres over. Pain in the arse

Cheers fellas Mrs. B's mum is none too good. Our fear is this may well be her last Christmas, so we are making it at pleasant as it can be at this time of year.

It's been a good year for the meets. All have been well attended, & new friendships formed.

As Andy says, we are due another Breakfast Meet, so I'll look to arrange a date & contact the Turnpike early in the New Year

For now - Have a Happy Christmas & see you all next year
