Managed to get the car washed off after work. Hope it stays dry!! See you all tomorrow :thumbsup:

I will bring a screw driver to take off any exhaust tips. Also have a gear knob and handbrake handle if any wants me to bring it along??

Fancy turning my strut brace around too :) ? (As Beedub pointed out its on back to front) But I think I need some extra screws though? The offer for brekkie still stands..

I will bring some sockets if I have time I will pop into work in the morning and pick up some new lock nuts. Shall I bring some oil and filters I can service a few cars while your having breakfast :poke:
 
I am very sorry, I know its bad form(last minute bailing) but something I really cant get out of has just come up so gonna have to wait for the next meet. Gutted as I was really looking forward to this. :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :headbang:

All good at the moment Ruby could probably do with losing some weight. And defiantly giving up smoking!!!

Got the tools in the car. I will swing by work it's on the way and I will grab what's needed.

I am 90% sure they are m8? Shame you can't make it Stuart we could have driven up together.
 
You can't use standard nuts. The BMW ones for the strut brace have an extension "sleeve" underneath that extends into the strut brace mounts so you get enough thread engaged. If you use standard nuts you'll only have a half a nut of grip. Better to re-use the existing ones and loctite them on.

The ones that fix the brace to the mounts are fine to re-use.

Personally i think you need to look in to some punctuation MM as Ruby is likely to kick you in the goolies for the above if she misreads it!! :P :P
