I’d be interested in the spoiler if it could be removed from the boot.

I would need posting. How much would you ask ?
I'm not sure if it can be without damaging either bud- but let me have a look

Appreciate it  Think it was originally bonded with some adhesive, so yes might not be that easy to remove I guess

Where you based bud?

Ive had a look this am and I could probably separate but not sure what it would do to the boot lid- so spoiler on its own £120 or £150 including the boot? I can strip the internals of the lid if needed?

Seems a lovely car to break

Sorry Paddy…
Sadly it's market forces.
The car was up for sale and no-one showed any interest in buying it. The seller just wanted the money and Stuart saw a window of opportunity.
Let's face it, other forum members will benefit and if it helps keep others running it isn't all bad.
Also consider that a lot of useful bits end up in Stuart's garage so when a member pops up out of the blue with an issue, lo and behold here's the part you need.
If you look at the high mileage 3.0i I'm trying to do up on a budget then yes, people commend me for saving it, but in reality I will struggle to sell it on without making a loss unless the market makes a swift U-turn. If I decided to break it I would potentially make a tidy profit.

Hey Stuart, I may be interested in entire center aluminium trim depending on its condition, or at least the sport button. Also possibly the driver's side mirror controls; mine are tempremental, I need to see if they can be rescued first.

And thanks for the wind deflector material

Hi Stu. Can you post some photos of the OSR wing please, especially along the top edge with rubber hood seal above the filler cap ? How much would you be asking for it ? Also, what sort of price for the centre face vents ? Thanks, Si

I know, and understand it makes sense. Just always sad to see what was once someone’s pride and joy going to waste.

Similar to a small crash now, due to the value of the cars even the smallest of knocks results in a write off

I know, when I had a minor bump in mine about 7 years ago I didn’t claim for mine as they wouldn’t guarantee to allow me to buy back if they wrote it off! Fixed for less than my excess myself!

Would be interested in the "wind deflector kit", if still available. Any chance to upload a photo?
Cheers! Marc
