Any recommendations?

I've got the standard 'comes with insurance' rebranded callassist cover, i blindly extended it to euro cover but now im having second thoughts. they were fine for local area help (had used in the past) but I'm not sure i trust them in Europe.

if the car can't be repaired, id be interested in one that provides hire car cover to continue our journey! i'm doing a roadtrip after all, and as rentals are the fastest cars in the world...!

I went with Green Flag for European cover, to top up the cover that comes with my bank account.

Went to Le Mans in the Z4 this year. On the Saturday night, the car was making a groaning sound when turning the steering wheel. Rang Green Flag (their European centre speak perfect English) and they arranged for a breakdown service to recover the car. They diagnosed a fractured power steering hose. Green Flag paid for us to get a taxi back to our campsite and arranged for me to collect a hire car on the Sunday. On the Monday, the breakdown service took the car to the local BMW dealer, who investigated and found that the hose was on back order with BMW in Munich for 10+ working days. Green Flag paid for the hire car for the remainder of the holiday, another hire car to get us from the ferry to our house when we got back to the UK, and also repatriated the Z4 from France to my local BMW dealer here in the UK.

The only thing I had to pay for was the repair. Green Flag were amazing throughout - they always rang back when they said that the would, their staff were bi-lingual and always happy to talk to people when my French wasn't up to the job, and really gave the impression that they wanted to help.
