Breakdown cover

Hi, looking for pointers for breakdown cover. Last few years I have been with rescue my car who have covered my 17 plate main car and my 03 Z4 for very reasonable cost. However now that my Z is 21 years old no one seems to be able to provide cover!
Who are you guys using with earlier Z's

I'm with the RAC for my 2 teenage BMWs as they don't seem to have an age limit. Well I hope not as my 3 Series will be 20 next year!

Nationwide Flex Plus for the travel insurance and breakdown. Have never had to claim on either though.

The AA doesn't cover the cars, it covers the people. So I have AA cover for the three drivers in our house, which covers us for any car we happen to be in.

It does keep going up by a lot more than inflation every year, though. Good old rip-off Britain!

The AA covers the driver rather than the car (or at least the one i have does that). Not cheap unless you manage to drop on one of their offers, but good cover in my opinion.

Get AA cover and opt for their Garage Parts and Labour cover.

It adds about £9 per month but they cover you for up to £500 if they cannot fix your car by the side of the road. You just have to use a VAT registered garage and they have to provide a quote to the AA before they do the work. It's saved me loads over the years.
