My current breakdown cover expires next month and they don't cover vehicles over15 years old. I haven't needed it it in 5 an half years of ownership but it's handy to have just in case. Like last week for example, bought 70 plate bike in Milton Keynes, got as far as Aylesbury and got a hole in radiator. So....any recommendations for 15yr old + car and motorcycle combo?

I've been using the RAC for years as there is no age limit, and both my cars are over 15 years old.

Plus I get the bonus of cover in any vehicle I'm travelling in. I've only used them twice for a dead water pump, and at home for a dead battery but service was fine both times.

The only issue is every renewal comes through way more expensive so I have to check AA New Member prices and ring RAC to get them to price match. :headbang:

AA, been with them for years and I’m covered not the car, so good for all cars. Had a flat battery last week on van and got me fitted up with a new one and on my way really quickly. Always an AA guy unlike some others who seem to use local garages, so better if you are a female on your own.

RAC personal cover...any vehicle I'm in.

Was looking recently and the AA do full cover and include a £500 payment towards any repairs (VAT reg garage) providing you have called them out first, costly at £280 but covered up to 4 vehicles (I think) and go via topcashbsck and get £130 back

You can use Tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for RAC membership, if you're like me and don't use them for much else!
