Well the annual breakdown renewal letter has arrived

It is not a bad price at £122.08 for personal cover for me in any car under 16 years old now my Z4MR has its 16th birthday on June

Who are people using for older cars

I have a 2009 120d as well as a daily car

RAC claims to cover any age of car.

Although mine is covered as part of a bank account package which similarly has no age limit and is for any vehicle (via Green Flag), however the same personal cover policy via Green Flag’s website lists a 15 year limit.

I've been with the RAC for years as it covers me in any car, and doesn't have any age restriction so it covers my daily 3 Series too.

It cost £187.99 in October but that includes Home Breakdown and Onward Journey cover. I used them twice in 2019 and was happy with the service I got.

I used to use Britannia Rescue and always found them to be good value - their service was also excellent!

+1

Always used them, great service. Had deluxe cover that included the ///MR anywhere in Europe for the past 10 years. Changed to comprehensive this year, as I have not taken a car aboard since Covid hit. :D :driving:

I only changed when i had the crop of BMW’s on manufactures then insured warranty.
Should that change i will migrate!

AA will cover you in any age of vehicle including motor bikes plus anything you might be towing at the time of breakdown, caravan, trailer, and the like.

This will give you at least 10% discount
