Break Dust Repellent?

Mine is arriving today. The local BMW dealership has it for sale as well.

I liked the Rim Ice sample I got at HC 08, but their website is hard to negotiate and I can't seem to find it anywhere but there.

I've used the wheel wax that is pictured on your link (the small round container). It makes cleaning off the rim a quick dust off with a cotton cloth as opposed to scrubbing the rim with soap & water.

I have used Wheel Wax from Bimmian with excellent results - still get brake dust but washes off easily.

Me too... Axxis deluxe pads plus wheel wax is a great combination.

i find using bilberry wheel cleaner and a good wheel brush gets the dust off with little effort, that said i do use low dust pads.

Even if your pads dust alot, the dust will still wipe off with almost zero washing.
Once after a particularly hot track event where I got the wheels almost as dark as the tires (well dark grey) I wiped off the tires when I got home, looked like I just washed em.

True its only when you leave brake dust on the wheels for long periods that it will bake on i just use my regular shampoo i use on the rest of the car but most wheel waxes will make life a little easier and make the wheels look that much nicer

I agree with z4alfie The Autoglym is the easiest. I spray it on a microfibre cloth and rub it on rather than directly on the wheel. No probs with overspray on tyres, body or discs that way.

i used the ag custom wheel cleaner as its less acidic, it was ok but didnt really work as well as the bilberry, plus the bilberry is great even when diluted, for the £9 i paid for a bottle i think it will last a year, with the wheels being cleaned every other week.
