Hey all,
My 203 18" wheels being refurbed and I can get my break calipers done whilst they are off. What color should I have? I was thinking red may go quite well with Monetgo Blue. But then I thought yellow might look good as well - but maybe shows the crap up a bit? What about bronze?
What does the Zed Oracle think?

Here's 2 mockups from another thread showing blue and red:
(although if you went blue you'd want to match the body colour better than this)

Yellow looks good against blue (not a Zed, but you get the idea):

Thanks Marlon. I like the look of yellow, that looks really nice. I will look for other examples. Red calipers still look good but your reply confirms what I was thinking, that red would look better on a White/Black car I think.

Looking to do mine soon but thinking matching blue and blue stitch on interior against shadow chrome wheels what do you all think

Neon green against the dark blue looks good IMO and it's not as common as red/yellow/blue it's the reason I chose the colour:

They all look pants as the brakes are pants. Not worth highlighting.

But the OP may have non-original "brakes" which may not be pants - I'd go for yellow calipers with blue.!

BTW what brakes does your Z4 have Steve84N? There don't seem to be any details in your profile.

Just standard Si brakes so nothing special but they work on the road.

I'll eat my words if he has anything more than the floating single piston calipers. Anyone is welcome to do what they want of course but opinion has been sought. If you have to do it at least make it a darker colour so it doesn't scream at you. Montego Blue would be alright.

With standard brakes I've always just kepth them clean / new looking. Anything more is akin to putting lipstick on a pig. :D

Eash to his own.
Fwiw id go dark blue to match the car.

I did mine gloss black as oem brakes are simply nothing worth high lighting as nothing special
New brembos coming that I have custom spray ordered
Here's a pic of mine in gloss black

Clean and tidy

I'm with D4dawg I too did my standard calipers in Gloss Black, IMHO I think unless you've got uprated calipers to show off I'd keep them the standard colour. Each to their own :D
