Hi all,

Well, I've booked my first track day (evening!). :driving:

It's the MSV / BMW UK / BMW CC GB novice evening at Brands Hatch on Wednesday 23rd June.

Anyone else attending? apparently some guy called Priaulx is going to be there giving advice and encouragement..!! :wink:

I'm really looking forward to hooning the //M around a good circuit without the worry of cars coming the other way, but I musy admit I'm a bit nervous about it..lol!!! :driving: :( :driving: :( :D
 
I was looking at some of the MSV events. I can't make this particular one but would be very interested to hear your experiences. I like the idea of a novice session with on track instruction...Enjoy it!

normaly just turn up no charge to watch and you can pay £10 for a passenger tickest and hitch a ride with other drivers.
 
Wish I'd know about this earlier, would have probably had a go.

Are these novice days fairly infrequent ?
 
I don't think the BMW subsidised events are very common, hence the very low price for this one. According to the motorsport vision website, there are still spaces available for the Wednesday event. All the times are also there, I viol signing on starts up around 1530hrs and track time proper commences at 1730hrs until 2000hrs. I only found out about the event last week and have managed to book off a midweek nightshift to do it. I think this will be a perfect taster session. (Apologies for the lack of helpful links, I'm replying from my mobile). I'll also try to do a little write up in the days following the evening. If you're thinking about it, go for it! I did!! :o)

OK, Wednesday's times are all a bit early for me,..even to watch. Might get my ar*e in gear for Bedford though.

Everyone I have heard from had a great day, one attendee was even a passenger in an M3 with Andy Priaulx!
