Brands Hatch - 8 months

Just saw the news about the twat who took his girlfriend's VW polo for an impromptu circuit around Brands Hatch during a race - got 8 months jail !!! Agree he's a knob but 8 months jail :o :o that's a mile over the top when you consider what many others get away with these days - Judge says about endangering lives - all cars going the same way - clearly dangerous but the other drivers could see what a prat he is and certainly avoid him .
 
Wasn't there an element of taking his girlfriend against her will on there, and therefore endangering her life?
 
It's way ott. He was a duck and should have paid financially for the time and money he wasted for others.

Most likely ruin his life and end up turning him into an unemployable doll scrounging smack head as that all that's left for him in this wold!

Watching the video once she realised what was happening she was not best pleased so yes this appears to be the case - even so still can't help thinking this is OTT - still he won't be doing this again ( at least for 4 months after half remission )

Exactly , I think the sentence is on the harsh side to deter any other would be interweb superstars trying the same trick .
 
Having read more on this story particularly demonstrating his arrogance and total lack of remorse I've changed my mind - serve the cocky bugger right :lol: :lol:
 
In many ways I agree it does seem harsh versus what you get nowadays for other crimes but he loved the attention and showed off gleefully on FB and he did put the other drivers and his occupants in the car at risk so I think its correct the punishment to hopefully deter any other donut that thinks of doing the same in the future.
