Branded Dust Caps - DO NOT FIT THESE!!

Hi all, just a word or warning, do not fit these cheap type things you can get off eBay. I fitted them to my Audi A5 last year and because it's cheap chinese metal they corrode on the inside quite quickly and then seize to your valve so basically you can't get them off which is a problem when you want to pump up your tyre.

I ended up using a mini blow torch to expand them and mole-grips but damaged the rubber valve stems getting them off.

Avoid like the plague and spread the word.

I have the oe metal ones but have been replaced by plastic ones as they were hard to remove. One took some force to unscrew and I thought it was going to damage the valve. Never going good back to the metal ones.
 
If you put a smear of copper grease on the valve thread before fitting the cap it stops them from seizing.
