BRAND NEW IPHONE 5S SILVER

Hi All,

I have recently had an upgrade from EE to an Iphone 5s in Silver. It is the 16gb version.

I will not be needing it so am selling it. It is still sealed.

Asking £400 + Postage ono

Thanks

Andrew

Just a bit of advice.... You may want to check prices going for EE locked ones on ebay... As a guide to the going rate.

Also may have more luck if you get it unlocked first... But i know EE charge £25 for that.

Thanks aquazi, I don't want to open the box as I think that it will be worth more and people generally prefer it if it is sealed.

I will lower the price though. Price now £420 + Postage (less than what they generally go for on ebay)

Thanks

If its never been used then you wont need to open the box to get it unlocked, just give them the imei number as its locked upon first registration..Thats what i did with mine 6 or so months back, except vodaphone only charged me £10!

With EE - I think you need have used the phone with them (had the IMEI registered with them) for 6 months before they'll unlock it?

see the first point here: https://explore.ee.co.uk/unlock

The unlock process with EE took 2 weeks for my last phone I gave to my parents and cost me £25.

No idea why so much as in NL, it is done there and then in the shop without issues (also EE).

My wife's on tmobile and i got her iphone unlocked from EE without having the phone... Gave the imei they said i would need to put another network sim in to unlock and restore but as it wasnt registered worked with my voda sim as soon as i opened it.

But yeah took over a week to get the confirmation email.

But that link says it cost £20.42... Means i was overcharged :headbang:

Aquazi - out of interest, the iPhone didn't lock to the first network the phone got switched onto? As in the vodaphone one. Heard something along these lines about iPhones before, though perhaps just from one retailer, Carphone Warehouse IIRC.

That would be funny if i locked my wifes phone to vodaphone so she couldnt use it!

But no hers worked right after! Not sure if iphone 5s lock on first registration, the iphone 4 definitely didnt as i got a phone from ebay a few years ago and it said it was an upgrade but unlocked but didnt work with my sim :headbang:
