That's the Bentley style flip key key! My personal favourite and the most popular one.

All keys will come with the BMW Emblem :)
 
Nice! Quick question, for the Bently key I imagine it doesn't fit in the ignition slot so how would getting around that work?
 
I imagine it's like the one I got from dlv, so it's a flip-style key.

I assume you need the car for this service? Or would the key suffice? (I have a work vehicle, so I'm normally in that).

Mr Tidy is right. It's a flip key so you wouldn't have any issues :)

I would need access to the car to get the EWS module out (needed to program the key). The original key is only needed to synchronize all the keys to the car.

It would be possible to remove and post the EWS module (located underneath the steering wheel) and have the key programmed and posted back. But there's a chance the EWS module may be damaged in transit and so I do not offer this service by post unfortunately.

Happy to program a key for you if you're ever in the north london area :thumbsup:
 
More south, but I travel a fair bit for work atm. So I was thinking of visiting in the work vehicle... avoids posting. Would that work? Or would you need the car?

Hi Kis,

That would work if you are happy to remove your EWS module from the zed and bring it with you. Only takes a few minutes to remove (I can send instructions).

Just been reading your posts in regards cutting/programming a new key for Z4's. If you are still offering this service I'd be most interested in meeting with you at say Barnet and having the deed done. I'd be interested in the original diamond key.

Hi the guy that provides this service is currently busy attending to some family matters, may even be abroad. So if you don’t mind waiting (he said he will contact me in Feb) then just sit tight :) He could contact me (or anyone else that’s enquired) tomorrow or in 3 weeks... if you’re in a rush I’d recommend enquiring with other people/services.
