Brakes disc / pad change

So I'm going to replace all discs and pads (trying out EBC yellowstuff) on my ZMC and was wondering if there is anything else I should change while I'm at it. Maybe dust boots and piston seals? Appreciate any help!
 
If your gonna do the lot get the seal kits as well,front seals £38ish worth doing it properly when the calipers are off then its a full brake overhaul done,getting the boots on can be fiddly but worth it,clean out all the old fluid from the chamber you will find all crappy bits there maybe.
 
I'm interested to read about your experience with the EBC Yellowstuff pads. I've had them on my M and wasn't convinced with their initial bite and durability, now going for a set of Pagid's next week.
 
I was disapointed with the EBC Yellowstuff Pads. Brakes would overheat easily and winge.

Have recently moved to DS2500 and there is no comparison.
Consider spending the extra few quid for a far superior set up.
 
Goon, that's what I was thinking, got a quote from bmw who said the seal kits were £44 for fronts and £60 for rears. I hear u need a 'special tool' for the rears, do u know anything about this?

Jpeeters and Angus, the car is mainly a road car with maybe 1/2 track days. I'll see how these go and replace if necessary, but ur responses do not fill me with confidence!
 
I'd avoid M tech. Was going to be ordering a set of their discs for my track car.

Searched for some reviews and the general consensus being buy other equipment.

Again with ECB, their greenstuffs had a small following a few years back but I've heard plenty of mixed reviews on them.

As for suggesting what pads, well I'll be going for a set of ferrodos as mentioned by Angus.
 
who has the cheapest replacement discs for the front? i do want them drilled, but don't care who makes them.
 
I'm more of a fan of slotted but not drilled if possible. Best discs I ever bought were from this guy http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk
If you can send him a set as a pattern I'm pretty sure he can make anything
