brake upgrade

im going to be taking the Z4 (2008) to the ring later in year the std brakes are not up to it, so ill do some better discs and track pads with some super blue fluid/braided lines has anyone else done this what did you use and how did they perform

What Z4 do you have mate?

I had this upgrade on my 3.0i (running 3.0Si brakes and I was happy enough on track) I didn't stay out any longer than 20 mins at a time though.
 
might want to state what engine etc your Z is (2.0 2.5 3.0 etc) to help people give you suggestions (or better still, edit your signature so its easier for people to see in the future)

afraid i cant help you on this but im sure people will be able to soon :)
 
Nfbr recently upgraded his braking system and there's plenty of images in his project thread look at. Worth a look as it's a thing of beauty.

Mtec grooved discs and red stuff pads , because that's all there was in stock , lasted until breidscheid bridge before fading into oblivion on a 3ltr z4 , yellow pads were great in my previous z3m coupe .
I'm not an aggressive driver but the reds faded badly , but to be fair , I let them cool down and they did work ok by carrousel . I just drove with it in mind for the other 11 laps !
