Brake Pad Wear Sensor + Performance Pads..?

Hi All!

After fitting my EBC Redstuffs this weekend (which are pretty darn good btw ) i have the small issue with the Brake Pad sensor light being on...

Obviously EBC omitted this part from their pad in favour of more friction material! The question is, how do i 'hack' this sensor so that it doesnt think my pads are dead. Im assuming that you just bridge the two wires, however would like some confirmation please!

i assume your sensor was on originally when you changed the pads?

if so the pad sensor needs changing.

they have a wire loop in then and a soon as the loop is worn away it will not let the light go out.

if you have removed the sensor and not replaced then then that has teh same effect (open circuit in the sensor circuit)
