Brake pad light

Brake pad light came on last night on my way home, during some 'spirited' braking (due to a typical Hull driver pulling out in front of me :x )

Anyone know where to get decent, REASONABLY priced pads? Might as well do all four corners.

I thought an AUC might have a bit motre than two months worth of brake pad left, bit dissapointed really :(

EBC's various compounds seem popular. Or Axxis Deluxe perhaps?

Being out of the UK though i cant offer any help on where exactly to track them down, the only big BMW parts website i know is http://ca-automotive.co.uk

If you're happy with standard pads and just want the best price on them, then go to Eurocarparts or GSF Car Parts.

If you're after non-BMW pads, then the world is your oyster, and you can spend from £50-£250 per axle.

I've just stuck some on from Eurocarparts for now, ATE I think, actually pretty good. On the EBC front, I know many people like them, but I found the Green Stuff pads to be horrible - with the same driving style they actually seemed to perform worse than the original BMW pads, especially once given some abuse!

I recently had Bosch pads fitted and have noticed they don't push out much break dust compared to the previous oem's
