Brake malfunction warning light! Help!!!

So I was out for a drive this afternoon taking advantage of the weather & some top down action, having a great time.... until the handbreak light came on (in amber) along with the symbol for the full traction control etc turned off.

Read the handbook & it says that the combination of warning lights means that the whole driving aid/braking systems have malfunctioned & to get it in for a service asap.

Has anyone had this before? What am I looking at? Huge bill by any chance?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Sounds strange but I found a jet wash around the arches cleans off any gunk in the sensors.

Mine kept on coming on every now and then and now seems to be ok...

This seems to be becoming a common problem.
Mines done it twice now in as many Weeks

I had the same, it was an ABS pressure sensor, which seems to have of fixed itself, a new one would of been approx £160.

a few people have taken out the sensors on the wheels and cleaned them down, as this can cause the same fault if they are covered in sludge. simple job, just need an alan key and same brake cleaner.

Yup - me too :( . Happening since last week, sporadically. I'll give the jet was under the wheel arches a go.

Any luck with this? It happen to me again at the weekend and the jet wash helped again.

I'll probably get the wheels off at the weekend and give them a proper clean.
